    Recent Facilities Updates

• December 11, 2024

  Due to flooding that occurred on December 10, Dougan 160, Dougan 260, and adjacent hallways and restrooms remain closed while the area is thoroughly dried. This will be followed by moisture testing next week. We anticipate that restoration work will begin at the end of next week, and only after successful remediation and moisture tests. Please continue to avoid these areas and follow directions on any posted signs. 

• December 10, 2024

  There was flooding Tuesday on the first and second floors of Dougan (north of the staircase, on the Campus Safety side of the building). This was related to emergency maintenance work in DOU 260. The area has been cleaned but will take time to dry out. Classes being held this week in DOU 160, 260, 270, and 280 have been notified and relocated. Please avoid the area around these classrooms, Campus Safety, and adjacent hallways as the floors are still very slippery and remediation equipment is noisy. The staircase through DOU and the rooms on the south side of the building (next to TPS) are unaffected.

• October 24, 2024

  Repairs for a chiller that supports HVAC operations in GWP, BB, BHS, and WCG are still pending delivery of necessary parts. These buildings may be warmer than normal. We are diligently working with outside vendors to expedite this work. We appreciate your patience.

• September 24, 2024

  Building temperatures may be warmer than normal in GWP, BB, BHS, and WCG. Due to an HVAC problem, we cannot cool these buildings. Building systems are providing fresh, filtered outside air, but there is no cooling available. Outside vendor technicians are providing support, and we will provide an estimated repair timeline as we learn more. Thank you for your patience as we work to get this system fully operational as soon as possible.
